Bicycle maps for Elkhart and LaGrange Counties
The bicycle maps available for download below are for bicyclists who want to ride on county roads in addition to trails in Elkhart and LaGrange Counties. The bicycle routes are presented in four separate maps in pdf format and total more than 150 miles. Embedded maps show details for streets and roads where necessary.
All of the bicycle routes have cue sheets that list the road names and turns in relation to distances from specified starting points.
The Goshen-Middlebury-Shipshewana map presents 100 miles of road routes in the vincinity of the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail and these routes intersect the trail at several points. You can create your own ride by combining sections of the trail and roads. Red letters on this map mark the locations of businesses, points of interest and country schools along the routes.
The Abshire Park-Elkhart and Abshire Park-Goshen Dam Pond maps present bicycle routes that are on the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail, the Maple City Greenway and the MapleHeart Trail.
