Bicycle maps for Elkhart and LaGrange Counties

Photo of calvesThe bicycle maps available for download below are for bicyclists who want to ride on county roads in addition to trails in Elkhart and LaGrange Counties. The bicycle routes are presented in four separate maps in pdf format and total more than 150 miles. Embedded maps show details for streets and roads where necessary.

All of the bicycle routes have cue sheets that list the road names and turns in relation to distances from specified starting points.

Photo of a calf and a boatThe Goshen-Middlebury-Shipshewana map presents 100 miles of road routes in the vincinity of the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail and these routes intersect the trail at several points. You can create your own ride by combining sections of the trail and roads. Red letters on this map mark the locations of businesses, points of interest and country schools along the routes.

The Abshire Park-Elkhart and Abshire Park-Goshen Dam Pond maps present bicycle routes that are on the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail, the Maple City Greenway and the MapleHeart Trail.

Biking and Walking in Elkhart County

The Elkhart County Convention and Visitors Bureau created a booklet with photos, maps and descriptions for eleven trails and routes in Elkhart County. A link for downloading the entire booklet as a pdf file is available in the table below. Links for downloading individual sections of the booklet are also available in the table. The  last table entry gives turn by turn descriptions for some of the trails and routes.
