Latest news -

Friends President, John Yoder, will highlight our latest efforts to close the gap in the trail between CR 33 and CR 35.

Guest speaker -

There has been a change in the guest speaker for the Friends of the Pumpkinvine Annual Dinner, April 28, 2015. Ronda Romano, announced earlier, is unable to attend due to a sudden change in jobs.

However, we are pleased that Julia Gautsche has agreed be the guest speaker. Gautsche is certified nurse midwife and OB/GYN nurse practitioner with Fairhaven Physicians in Goshen and serves on the Goshen city council. She is responsible for beginning the annual Maple City Walk, now in its seventh year, that attracts over 100 walkers each year to complete a half marathon walk, primarily on the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail.

Gautsche will speak the opportunities trails provide to improve our community’s health through exercise, like walking.

Door prizes -

Door prizes include gift certificates for sports equipment and a men’s or women’s Trek Verve 2 bike donated by Lincoln Avenue Cycling & Fitness.
